Collective Fermentation Workshop

In the first part of the session we will be tasting fermented drinks and other home-made products to tickle our senses. In the second part we will explore methods for food preservation, questions of seasonality and flavours. To play with tastes, we are inviting you to bring cc. 500 gr of a vegetable that you would like to ferment. If you struggle to choose a vegetable, think what is in season, what would you like to ferment, what flavors would you like to develop. Together we will come up with recipes and combinations to try out.  You will be learning about two lacto-fermentation techniques & tips to start fermenting safely at home- no previous experience needed, just enthusiasm, vegetables and a jar, we are bringing the rest. 

To be able to run the event we are asking for a small participation contribution of 10 euros to cover organizational costs (rent & materials). To confirm your participation we will be asking a min contribution of 10 euros prior to the event. You can expect to be informed in advance on the status of attendance and you have the responsibility to notify the organizers if you cannot attend the workshop anymore so we can give a fair chance to everyone interested to participate.
